Jennifer S. “Jenny” Frazier, 72, a vibrant and loving woman, was born on December 23, 1950, in Galesburg, Illinois, and peacefully passed away in Peoria, Illinois, on October 28, 2023, after a courageous three-time battle with cancer.

Born to parents Phillip Stegall and JoAnne E. (Babbitt) Stegall, both of whom preceded her in death. Jenny was raised around the love of her mother JoAnne and her stepfather, John Tracy. Jenny retired in 2000 after a 30-year career at Maytag. Jenny married Roger D. Frazier on June 20, 1969 in Galesburg. Jenny and Roger had two loving children who survive her, Dusty (Jenny) Frazier and Rachel (Rick) Nelson, both of Galesburg. Along with her parents, Jenny was preceded in death by her brother, Jeff Stegall, her stepfather, John Tracy, and her grandson, Dustin Frazier II.

Jenny was a remarkable woman whose interests kept her spirit alive and her heart generous. She was a master gardener whose green thumb allowed many to enjoy her irresistible plants. Often referred to as an avid crafter, Jenny’s talents ranged from ceramics to quilting, crocheting, and knitting. Her love for creating beautiful things made her a renowned participant at the scenic drive for many years. Jenny enjoyed the simple beauty of life, whether it was feeding birds and squirrels, playing cards, or spending the holidays with her loved ones. With an undeniable love for travel, the ocean, and her adored dogs, she captured hearts wherever she went.

Known for her kindness, her friendly demeanor, and her loving spirit, Jenny was the glue that kept her family together. Her knack for bringing people together will undeniably be missed but will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to cross paths with her. Jenny’s legacy of love and strength will forever live in the hearts of those she touched.
