Due to wet field conditions, the time and location for the Carl Sandburg College men’s soccer team’s Region 4 Division II quarterfinal Saturday have been changed.

The contest will now be played at 4 p.m. Saturday at Jorge Prats Field on the campus of Knox College.

The Chargers (11-2-2), ranked 20th in the country and the No. 2 seed in the region, will host seventh-seeded Moraine Valley, which beat Black Hawk 1-0 in a first-round match Wednesday. Weather permitting, the contest will be streamed on the Carl Sandburg College YouTube channel.

If the Chargers win Saturday, they will host a semifinal match Tuesday afternoon. The championship is scheduled for noon Nov. 4 at Madison. The winner of the region tournament advances to the NJCAA Division II Men’s Soccer Championship from Nov. 12-18 in Tucson, Ariz.
