Beth M. McCoy, 96, of Roseville, passed away at 8:20 a.m. Sunday, January 28, 2024, in the Roseville Rehab and Healthcare Center. She was born December 26, 1927 in Roseville, the daughter of Melvin and Lena (Collins) Taylor. She was raised and educated at Roseville Stone School and Roseville High School, graduating in 1945.

She married Herbert L. McCoy on July 24, 1945 and he preceded her in death on November 8, 1972.

Beth was a cook at the Tasty Grill, National Café, and the Roseville School district. She also drove a school bus for the district for five years. She later worked for Monmouth college in housekeeping for 20 years. She cleaned houses for area residents as well.

She liked to garden and reading. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was a member of the Monmouth Christian Church and had recently attended the Roseville Christian Church.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters; Doris (Paul) Fisher of Galesburg, Illinois, Dee (Jim) Quinn of Galesburg, Ella (Percy) Hall of Monmouth; grandchildren, Michelle (Robert) Jones of Monmouth, Lisa (Steve) Fenton of Burlington, Iowa, Tony (Danielle) Quinn of Noblesville, Indiana; great-grandchildren; Byron Quinn, Jameson Quinn, Kaleb (Alexis) Nevers, Matthew Nevers, Jacob Nevers, Ryan Leary; great-great grandchildren, Hope Avalos, Lexi Avalos and Zakarah Avalos and one on the way.

Beth was preceded in death by her parents; one great-grandson Liam Leary; brother, Glenn Taylor and an infant sister.

Per Beth’s wishes, graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 31, 2024, in the Roseville Township Cemetery. Moore Memorial Home, Roseville, is handling the arrangements.
