Illinois Extension Hosts Master Gardeners Course

Share

Coming up in February, the University of Illinois Extension will be hosting its local Master Gardeners course. This hybrid course will be offered in Galesburg and Macomb from February 6th through April 16th, explains U of I Horticulture Educator Chris Enroth.

“This is a University of Illinois Extension volunteer program where we train Illinoisans to learn how to garden, learn how to do landscaping, lawn care, trees- you name it. Anything outside,” said Enroth. “Then those volunteers go outside and maybe they adopt a classroom, or they start a garden when that food goes to a food pantry; they might partner with the local library. There is a lot of things our Master Gardeners can do.”

Contact your local extension office or visit the Extension website for more information or sign up for the Master Gardeners Course.
