Even after taking the blue corduroy jacket off for the last time, Monmouth-Roseville FFA alumni continue to give back to the organization. Coming up in February, the M-R FFA alumni will host their annual auction to benefit the students participating in FFA events and competitions. The auction will take place February 21st at 6 pm at the Monmouth American Legion said alumni Thad Tharp.

“All the proceeds from that auction will be used to help cover expenses of differently like the DC Leadership Conference. Just going to contests, and we have a scholarship program as well,” said Tharp. “The funds raised will go to help the chapter, help facilitate things in the chapter as well as fund the senior scholarship program.”

The event will kick off with dinner at 6 pm which will include pork chops and rib-eyes grilled by the Ti-County Cattlemen and sides provided by County Line Diner. The auction will begin at 6:30.
