Local Girl Scout Troop Supports Area Organizations with Cookie Sales Proceeds

The 2024 Girl Scout Cookie Season is now underway with Girl Scout Troops of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois and local Girl Scout Troop 8114 Member Reagan Scanlan shares proceeds benefit community organizations and the troop:

“We usually give some money to somewhere that they can give it back to the community. We have donated to Jamieson Community Center and then we will take the rest of our money and go do something fun, like a trampoline park or Fun City.”

Girl Scout Troop 8114 will have Cookie Booths locally at Walmart and Fareway throughout the season, with purchases also being able to be placed online at girlscoutstoday.org.
