Road Reconstruction of Harlem Avenue on Tap as Water Main Replacement Complete

The water main project on Harlem Avenue in the City of Monmouth has been completed with the road reconstruction to begin soon, reports City Administrator Lew Steinbrecher:

“It is a little rough right now, but the same contractor that did that job is the one that is going to be doing the water main around the Public Square. We have talked to him and I’m sure there will be some plans to kind of smooth that intersection out. West Harlem is still going to probably remain a little rough just simply because the road reconstruction project is going to be following that water main project quite quickly now that is done and over with.”
