Rozann Marie Snyder, 80, of Galesburg, died at 10:08 p.m. Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Allure of Lake Storey.

She was born October 30, 1943, in Kewanee, the daughter of Evar and Wilma Faye (Davis) Kilstrom.

She is survived by three children, Donna Fenn of Willcox, Arizona, Jim (Jackie) Burney of Carthage, Texas, and Harold (Ruth) Snyder of Galesburg; 10 grandchildren, Jamie, Donnie, Ryan, Derek, Aaron, Hunter, Austin, Daija, Charlotte, and Ella; 15 great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews, Karen, Kathy, Bob, and Bill. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Craig Snyder; a sister, Patsy Powell; and a foster brother, Larry Davis.

Rozann was raised and educated in Kewanee and lived most of her life there. She had lived in Macomb for 20 years and in Galesburg the past nine. She worked as a school bus driver and school cook for 30 years before retiring. On November 8, 1969, she was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and continued to be active until her death.

Rozann was an artist by nature, her favorite medium being oil paints. She also enjoyed being in nature taking in mountain and desert scenes and birdwatching. Rozann liked photography and working jigsaw puzzles. She also enjoyed horses and in her younger years kept and took care of them at home.

Cremation will be accorded. A joint Celebration of Life for Rozann and Craig will be planned for a later date in Kewanee. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services of Galesburg is honored to serve the family.
