Sue Ann Hendrickson, age 67, of Biggsville, Illinois, passed away at 3:27 PM on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington, Iowa. She was born January 1, 1957 in Burlington, Iowa, the daughter of Charles Walter and Nancy Ramsey (Morris) Hendrickson. Sue was educated in Biggsville, attended Union High School, and later attended Southeast Community College in Burlington, Iowa, where she earned her nursing degree.

Sue began her career at Community Memorial Hospital in Monmouth, Illinois. She then worked at the Burlington Hospital for 30 years until her retirement. She liked playing cards with her friends, gardening, being outdoors, NASCAR, and watching her favorite soap operas on television. Mostly, Sue loved being with her family.

Sue is survived by her son, Dustin Hendrickson of Chicago, IL, and three brothers, Charles (Mary) Hendrickson, Jr. of Iowa City, IA, Mike Hendrickson of Biggsville, IL, and Rob (Lori) Hendrickson of Biggsville, IL. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Sue is preceded in death by her parents.

A graveside service is planned for 10:30 AM on Monday, February 19, 2024 at the Biggsville Township Cemetery in Biggsville, IL. A memorial is being established for St. Jude Children’s Hospital. For more information, or to leave a remembrance of Sue, please visit www.turnbullfuneralhomes.com.
