M. Louise Kick, 93, of Monmouth, IL, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at the Monmouth Nursing Home, Monmouth.

Louise was born Sept. 17, 1930 in Clover Bend, AR. the daughter of Joseph E. and Beulah E. (Whitmire) Graham.  She was raised and educated in Clover Bend.

Louise married Troy R. Kick in Egypt, AR on Oct 11, 1946.

Louise worked at Benner Tea. Co for 6 years, the 2nd National Bank for 2 years and then Community National Bank for 33 years retiring as Assistant Cashier in 1997.

She was a member of the Church of Christ and later Gerlaw Christian Church, Monmouth Business & Professional Women’s Club, several banking organizations and served as Monmouth City Treasurer.

Survivors include her 2 daughters, Barbara Kick Lyons and Betty J. Kick both of Naperville, IL; granddaughter, Christa L. (Mike) Cook of Little York; grandson, M. Jay Lyons of Gerlaw; great grandsons, Zachery M. Cook and Bradley A. Cook both of Little York; step great granddaughter, Elizabeth R. Cook of Orlando, FL; 1 brother, Daniel R. Graham of Augusta, GA; sister-in-law, Jeanette Graham of Cherokee Village, AR; nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Harold D. Graham and Joe Graham and her uncle, William Whitmire.Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL, with Pastor Paul Lydic of the Gerlaw Christian Church officiating.  Burial will be in Warren County Memorial Park.  Friends may call Tuesday morning from 10:00-11:00 am at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Western Illinois Animal Rescue or the Gerlaw Christian Church.
