The Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau® Foundation is proud to announce this year’s scholarship recipients. Due to the generosity of the Twomey Family Foundation, memorials in honor of loved ones, support from our members and area businesses, and fundraising efforts, the Foundation can assist nineteen applicants this year in furthering their education in agriculture. Each of this year’s recipients will receive a total of $1,300 for the 2024-25 academic year.

The Foundation started awarding scholarships in 1994 and since that time has awarded 412 scholarships and almost $350,000 to students continuing their education in an agricultural field of study.

Meet one of this year’s recipients: Aidan Jenks

Aidan Jenks attends the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is majoring in Ag and Consumer Economics Public Policy and Law. While at U of I, he is involved in FarmHouse Fraternity, Collegiate Farm Bureau, Young Americans for Freedom, Sports Analytics Society, Orange Krush, and Illini Pride Student Athletic Board. In his free time, Aidan enjoys going to Illini sporting events, working out and playing intramurals. Future plans for Aidan include getting a career as a lobbyist for the field of agriculture. Aidan is the son of Tom and Jill Jenks of Monmouth.
