The City of Monmouth has initiated a zoning district change for the lot located at 1018 South Main Street for the construction of a new building by Complete Parts and Repair, explains Mayor Rod Davies:

“The McBride’s there on South Main Street are going to be building a new building. They had two lots there on South Main Street and were zoned for residential, so we had to get those rezoned to B-2 Neighborhood Commercial so that they would be in compliance. They have rezoned a couple of parcels there for them as they have grown their business there on the corner. Now they are going to expand, and I believe they have a new partner coming in and are expanding their operation, so they are building a new three or four bay building there to expand their mechanical service ability there.”

Back on August 2nd, the Complete Parts and Repair and McKee Automotive Facebook social media pages reported they were merging to be able to provide the best possible service to their customers.
