Kathleen A. (McIntosh) Stotler, 60, of Monmouth, IL, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024 at OSF St. Mary’s Medical Center, Galesburg, IL.

Kathleen was born October 29,1963 in Monmouth, IL the daughter of Gene L. and Mary K. (Scott) McIntosh.  She was raised and educated in Warren County, graduating from Warren High School with the class of 1981.

Kathleen married Robert “Bobby” Stotler in Monmouth on March 16, 2002 and he survives.

Kathleen worked as a CNA at LaMoine Christian Nursing Home in Roseville and later Monmouth Nursing Home for several years, retiring in 2019.  She also babysat for family and friends.

She was a member of the Monmouth Eagles Club.  She loved taking care of people, spending time with her grandchildren, watching wrestling and going to yard sales.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Stotler of Monmouth; her daughters, Melayna Nickols of Galesburg, Julie Nickols of Monmouth; 2 step-daughters, Heather Adams of Davenport, IA and Melissa from Macomb, IL; her step-son Gary Renwick of Montana; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; three sisters, Diana L. Mackey of Augusta, IA; Twilia Sexton of Muldrow, OK and Shirley (Terry) Fluke of Avon; two brothers, Roy L. McIntosh of Avon, IL, and Brian McIntosh of Monmouth; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-daughter, Barbara Dunbar; two brothers, Gary McIntosh and Rex McIntosh; along with several other family members.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Monday, October 28, 2024 at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL.  Interment will be at Warren County Memorial Park, Monmouth.  Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 am Monday morning at the funeral home.  Memorials may be given to the Kathleen Stotler Memorial Fund and sent to the funeral home or directly to https://www.mcguireanddaviesfuneralhome.com/resources/make-a-payment.
