Karen M. Adams, 87, of Alexis, passed away at 11:40 a.m., Sunday, November 10, 2024 at the Knox County Nursing Home, Knoxville, Illinois. She was born October 17, 1937 in Galesburg, the daughter of Bertil and Lucille (Goddard) Olson. She was raised and educated in Galesburg graduating from Galesburg High School in 1955.

She married Russell Adams on August 25,1964, and he preceded her in death on December 24, 2010.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children; AnnMarie Adams of Princeton, Illinois, Tim Adams of Morton, Illinois,  and Carlee Adams of Alexis, Carolyn Adams of Skokie, Illinois and one granddaughter Jazmin Sylvers of Skokie; sister, Joyce (Jerry) Niles of Russiaville, Indiana. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one brother, Mickey Olson.

Karen worked for the Illinois Camera Shop in Galesburg for 10 years. After her children were born she became a homemaker and she loved sewing. She was a long-time member of the Ever Busy Club. She enjoyed writing letters to family and friends.
