Seven individuals are running for four open spots on the United Board of Education this spring. Superintendent Tom Hawkins informs perspective member orientations will be held:
“We have School Board elections coming up this spring and I know that my board president and I are going to hold some perspective member orientation to our district so they kind of know what they are getting into. We are looking at starting those up maybe at the end of this month through February. We have four openings on our board right now and my last bit of information is we have seven people that are running for four spots. That is always a good thing. There are some districts that have open seats, and they have to try to find and fill them. It just shows how involved the community is with our district and we are proud of that.”
The Consolidated Election is April 1st, 2025.
