Water, Sleep, And Exercise: Pro Tips to Staying Healthy

The flu, RSV, COVID-19, the common cold, and even allergies all seem to be circulating this time of the year. As symptoms of those respiratory illnesses are similar, it can be difficult to determine which ailment you or a family member may be experiencing. With the ultimate goal of remaining healthy, Dr. Jenna Dionisio offers some pro tips:

“A couple of pro tips, stay healthy as in drinking plenty of water, you have to subtract the amount of caffeine because that actually makes you urinate all that water that you drank, so stay healthy with that. Stay healthy by optimizing your sleep, so trying to get a good amount of sleep if you can and also exercise. These are all general tips to keep your body at its’ healthiest in case you are exposed to something.”

Additional reminders to try and stay ahead of illnesses; wash your hands, avoid close contact with others that may be sick, avoid touching your nose and eyes, and clean surfaces with disinfectants.

The Illinois State Police (ISP) Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) Illinois Trafficking Enforcement Group (ITEG) arrested two individuals during a two-day human trafficking demand suppression operation in Springfield on June
