Since the 2021 United Softball team finished with a record of 19-5 and a loss to Ridgewood in the regional championship, the Red Storm hold a record of 12-56-1. New United Head Coach Mike Maguire has plans to turn the program around and establish the Red Storm as a softball powerhouse again. Coach Maguire says he knew it wouldn’t happen overnight, especially with his uber-young squad, but he loves what his team is showing night-in and night-out.
The United Red Storm currently sit at (2-13) overall and (0-6) in LTC play. They will start a stretch of three games in three days on Tuesday as they host the Annawan/Wethersfield Titans. United will be at home again on Wednesday, as they host the winless Peoria Central ballclub. On Thursday, the Red Storm will play at Annawan-Wethersfield as they finish up their 2-game series.
