United Red Storm Softball Offense Busts Out in Big Way

United Red Storm Softball traveled to Burea Valley this past Saturday for a battle of the Storms. The Red Storm fell in game one, 10-0. United dropped game two, 11-1. Emma Lair had a hit and scored the lone run in the nightcap.

The Red Storm got back on diamond on Monday night at West Prairie. The Red Storm offense busted out for a 26-16 win over the Cyclones. Lair stayed hot, going 4-for-5 with a double and six rbis. Aubrey Bainter also had 3 hits while driving in 4 runs. Ava Westart crossed the plate 6 times and pounded out a pair of doubles for the Red Storm. Mallory Giddings and Attie Bernhardt contributed 3 hits each, as well. United is now 2-8 on the season.

The Red Storm girls will be back on the diamond tonight at home against Orion. United will finish the week with a double header at Abingdon/Avon on Friday. Game 1 is scheduled for 4 pm and game 2 6 pm.
