Back to school is in the air at Monmouth College as 140 football players begin moving in this week with the official start of practice on Thursday. Sports information Director Nathan Baliva says be patient as you drive by campus this week.
“They will start practice on Thursday, that is their first day, after they do some meetings Wednesday night. Then all of the rest of the fall athletes move in on Thursday. They will be moving in all afternoon on Thursday, so if you are driving up there around campus, you are going to see a lot of cars parked off to the side, probably double parked as parents are carrying big things out of cars and helping kids move in, so be a little patient driving through there on 6th Street or Main Street.”
Baliva says the rest of the students at Monmouth College will be moving in this weekend.
