This Friday, August 29th will be the last day of operation for McDonough District Hospital’s Monmouth Convenience Clinic, as it will be shifting operations to Macomb inside the main hospital campus. Vice President of Business Strategy Patrick Osterman shares this shift allows the MDH Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation clinic to expand their footprint in the Monmouth location:

“Our Convenience Clinic employees are going to be able to transition to other jobs within the organization, so we are not laying anybody off. We are funding opportunities if they choose to do so and stay within our organization. What this is going to do though, it is going to give us an opportunity to expand our sports med and rehab offerings, physical therapy mainly, but there are some other programs we are looking to grow. We did actually hire two new physical therapists for the clinic. They will be joining Lori Fox. We are going to be looking also to revamp our current space and see how we can better meet the needs of our physical therapy patients.”

McDonough District Hospital’s Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation clinic in Monmouth will remain open Mondays through Fridays from 7 am to 5:30 pm.
