The City of Galesburg has approved a loan for the local pet supply store and pet care services, Dante and Dory’s Pet Emporium opening soon in Downtown Galesburg, shares Knox County Area Partnership President Ken Springer:
“The City of Galesburg approved a $100,000 revolving loan to Dante and Dory’s Pet Emporium in August. The funding is going to be matched against a conventional loan from an area lender. Basically, the funding is going to help the business get the final equipment and inventory in place so they can open up. We are expecting the business to open soon.”
Dante and Dory’s Pet Emporium is housed in the former Dollar General building at 354 East Main Street in Galesburg.
