The Galesburg Area Chamber of Commerce is teaming up with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) to host a Cybersecurity Defense Workshop for local businesses, shares Executive Director Pam Gaither:

“It will be presented by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, CISA. It is a federal agency. Cybersecurity threats are very real. There are businesses that are attacked all the time and these are things that are very important to have a plan in place, especially a business, to know what these threats look like, how to do a risk assessment, and develop strategies to make sure that they know what they will do if something happens, and just have a response plan. That is a lot of what will be covered in this event.”

The workshop will be held at the Galesburg Public Library on Thursday, September 25th from 3:30 to 5 pm. For more information on the upcoming free event, contact the Galesburg Chamber at 309-343-1194.
