Rehearsals for the Buchanan Community Chorus’ Christmas concert begin Monday, October 20th, shares Member Joy Boostrom:
“To get ready for our Christmas programs, we rehearse at First United Methodist Church in town, 221 East Broadway. Our rehearsals go from 7 to 8:30 pm. If people are interested who have never sung with us before but enjoy singing, you don’t have to be able to read music, but it does help. We don’t memorize anything, we are able to use our music. If people are interested, they can come to rehearsal on Monday and check us out. We have a great time together. Carolyn Kellert is our Director.”
Performances of the Buchanan Community Chorus’ Christmas concerts in Monmouth will be Friday, December 19th at 7 pm at Faith United Presbyterian Church and on Saturday, December 20th at 2 pm at the First United Methodist Church.
