The deadline to enter the 44th annual Security Savings Bank Amateur Photography Show is at 5pm this Friday, October 31st at the Buchanan Center for the Arts. Executive Director Ann Tenold shares a new feature to this year’s show:
“New to this year, the amateur photographers can sell their pieces if they would like to. So, the photography will be on sale. It is a juried show, so there will be awards for different categories. We will be able to show the Security Savings Bank show through Christmas on the Square and then once we do Christmas on the Square, the winners of that show will go to the bank. Those winners will be displayed on the Security Savings Bank walls. We will ave an opening reception for the Photography Show on the 14th of November.”
Awards will be presented in seven different categories for the Security Savings Bank Amateur Photography Show: Agriculture and Farm Life, Animals and Creatures, Capturing Light and Shadow, Faces, the Four Seasons, the Peggy Kulczewski Memorial Floral Award, and Wheels.
