October 20th through October 30th, discounted labs are available at the Warren County Health Department, reports Administrator Jenna Link:
“It is a great way to help out those in the community get a set of lab results that they can take to their medical provider and just really have a quick glance of their health status. You do not have to be a Warren County resident to be able to take advantage of the program,” states Link.
“It includes a Lipid Panel, a Hemoglobin A1c, Comprehensive Metabolic Panel, and a Complete Blood Count. So, all of those things together for $75. If you are a male and 40 years and older and want to have a PSA screening done for prostate cancer, that is $30. We can also do a Vitamin D and a Vitamin B12. The Vitamin D is a $40 fee and the Vitamin B12 is $20,” Link adds.
This lab work with the Warren County Health Department is done by appointment only. To schedule, call Kira at 309-734-1314 extension 3.
