Knox County 4-H youth showed up with heart and purpose at the 4-H Community Service Drop-In Night, hosted by the Federation on October 14, 2025. The event brought together 25 4-H members, along with their families, for an evening dedicated to giving back and making a meaningful impact across the community.

Throughout the night, participants completed a variety of hands-on service projects:

  • 125 cookies were baked and packaged to be delivered to 25 club leaders at upcoming meetings.
  • 68 reusable bags made from donated T-shirts will be donated to the FISH Food Pantry, with several youth learning to use a sewing machine for the first time.
  • 38 handmade cards and drawings will be shared with residents of Seminary Village, bringing smiles and warmth.
  • 10 cozy tie blankets were crafted and donated to Boots and Blessings, offering comfort to local foster children.

The evening highlighted the power of youth leadership, creativity, and compassion. Knox County 4-H members continue to embody the 4-H pledge to use their hands for larger service and their hearts for greater loyalty.

A heartfelt thank you to all who participated—your energy and generosity truly make a difference.
