Warren County residents, if you are looking at your property tax bills or online property record cards and think your property is not valued correctly, reach out to the Warren County Courthouse to speak with your township assessor. There are exemptions for those who qualify, informs Kim, Supervisor of Assessments:

“We have senior exemptions. For the general senior exemptions, the only qualification for that is you need to be 65 years or older. We have an additional one for seniors, if you are 65 or older and you don’t have the senior exemption, call us. We have a disabled persons exemption. There is documentation that you have to submit for that, but we can help you. Also, there is an owner-occupied exemption, obviously, you own the property, you live there as your primary residence. We have a veteran with disabilities exemption, also, if you have a service-connected disability, a thirty percent or higher, and have the documentation to show that, we have an exemption for that as well.”

To find out if you qualify for tax exemptions in Warren County, contact the Supervisor of Assessments Office at 309-734-8561.
