Every November, the Illinois Association of School Boards recognizes the outstanding efforts of the elected school board members across the state. West Central Superintendent Stacey Day shares the seven individuals serving the West Central School District:
“The seven school board members for West Central, our Board President is Brendan Schaley, Vice President is Karl Gullberg, then the remaining members are Mindy Clark, Dillan Vancil, Josh Higgins, Lauren Chockley, and Mike Lenahan.”
Superintendent Day also reported that at the end of October during an informational meeting regarding school projects, around 20 contracts were on-hand learning about the process. The next major project taking place next summer is a new playground for the elementary.
