This Saturday, December 6th, the Crossing Church in Monmouth is hosting their first ever Children’s Shopping Mall from 10 am to noon. Campus Pastor Casey Grant shares the idea behind the opportunity for kids to do some shopping for their loved ones:

“The whole idea behind this is not a vendor fair, it is actually a chance for kids to come in and be able to choose and purchase presents for their loved ones, for their family members, teachers, coaches, on their own, have them wrapped, and when they leave that day, they will have presents for them and they are the only ones that know what it is, with the exception of the volunteer that help them shop. It is for kids in kindergarten through 5th grade. Parents can bring their kids; they will get paired with a volunteer shopper who will take them through the vendor fair. Everything is cash only and will be less than $20. They go through and help them manage and buy for whoever is on their list, they wrap them and do all that separate while mom and dad or grandma and grandpa or whoever brought them just hang out and have a cup of coffee in our lobby.”

Fourteen merchants will be set up during the Children’s Shopping Mall at The Crossing Church this Saturday morning with items priced under $20.
