Assistant principals and deans across the local school districts play a critical role in leading schools and shaping students. Through the Regional Office of Education #33, a new collaborative space has been created for those individuals to meet at set times to grow together, informs Assistant Regional Superintendent Emily Adolphson:

“Something that the ROE provides is a collaborative space for our superintendents to meet, as well as our principals, they meet with me three times a year. At the end of last year, it was brought up that they would really like to have the same platform for our assistant principals and deans. So, we actually were able to make that happen this year. We have already met once, and it was a great success, and we have two more in the books through the remainder of the year. I am very excited about being able to support that part of our leadership, for our colleagues to be able to communicate and collaborate together.”

The Regional Office of Education #33 serves students and the leadership teams of the Mercer County, United, West Central, Monmouth-Roseville, Abingdon-Avon, Knoxville, Galesburg, ROWVA, and Williamsfield school districts.
