The Warren Achievement Center continues work on its future Community Day Services building in Monmouth. The organization has been remodeling the former VFW building, with plans to use it for day services moving forward. Executive Director Rick Barnhill shares more.

“We were able to purchase the building, and we’ve done a complete remodel inside. There’s still quite a bit to do, but it’s coming along nicely. It will be our Community Day Services Building and program. We’re hoping to eventually even add on to the building on the south end, so we can create more of like a clinic. About 95 percent of our achievers have some sort of a chronic illness or condition that needs to be observed quite a bit with our registered nurses. We’re very excited about the building.”

Barnhill says the goal is to move into the new building sometime in 2026.
