The Warren Achievement Center is starting the new year with strong community support. Marketing Director Sean Cavanaugh says the organization recently received a donation from the Knights of Columbus as part of their annual Tootsie Roll Drive.
“Just very recently, Tim Newbauer from the Knights of Columbus Council 1496 dropped off a donation from this year’s annual Tootsie Roll Drive. I was out there, Tamra you were out there. We had achievers helping with that as well. They love to be involved. They love to be part of the community and do what others are doing. It was a very good donation, very, very good. They always think of us that time of the year. We split it with Special Olympics, so it’s a wonderful program.”
