On Saturday, February 28th from 9 am to 1 pm, Sandburg is hosting their first Showcase Day for fine arts students in Building F on the campus in Galesburg. Dean of Transfer Michael Patilla explains how prospective and returning students can showcase their talents:
“This is a good opportunity for us to make sure that students, potential students, know that we have scholarships available in the areas of theater, music, art, creative writing, if you like to write poetry, if you like to be in theater productions, if you play an instrument or sing, then this is a good opportunity for you to get money toward your education.”
The deadline to reserve an audition spot in Sandburg’s Showcase Day is Friday, February 6th. Registration can be completed online at sandburg.edu/sandburgshowcase.
