The United Red Storm boys basketball team picked up a Lincoln Trail Conference road win last Friday, knocking off Stark County 63-34. The win improves United to 5-8 overall and 2-0 in conference play, putting the Red Storm in a three-way tie for first place in the LTC.
United has now won three of its last four games and has enjoyed a week off before getting back into action on Thursday, as the Red Storm host Lewistown in a non-conference matchup. Head Coach Jason Lancaster says the tough early-season schedule is starting to pay off.
Tonight’s matchup with Lewistown will be broadcast live on AM 1330/FM 95.7 WRAM and online at radiomonmouth.com. Tipoff is set for 7:30, with pregame coverage beginning around 7 o’clock, following the completion of the JV game.
United will be right back in action on Friday night when they hit the road to face LTC foe Princeville, as the Red Storm look to stay atop the conference standings.
