Cats and dogs four months of age and older in Warren County are to be vaccinated against rabies and tagged, reminds Warren County Animal Control Officer Becca Livingston:
“Just a reminder, everyone needs to get their animals tagged, dogs and cats. We did move the animal tag office to 1360 South Main Street, which is in the Warren County Public Transportation building. We are open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8 am to 2 pm and on Fridays from 11 am to 1 pm. Whenever you get your dog or cat shots, that is when they are due. Then you have thirty days before the late fees incur.”
Livingston also stated that the felines caught in the new Trap-Neuter-Release Program through the Western Illinois Animal Rescue do not need tagged.
