2026 marks the 50th Annual Lenten Lay Breakfast Series held locally at Strom Center in Monmouth. Executive Director Carol McCrery says all are invited to attend on Friday mornings through Lent:
“We co-host with the Monmouth Ministerial Association. Every Friday morning, people can come in around 6:30 am and we have donuts, toast, juice, and coffee. That is followed by a program that starts around 7:15 am. We have a list of churches that are very involved. It runs from February 20th until Good Friday, which is April 3rd. It doesn’t matter what church you go to; it is just a great time for fellowship.”
This year’s Lenten Season begins on Ash Wednesday, February 18th.
