Maple City Chiropractic in Monmouth has added a new team member. Welcoming new patients, Dr. Taylor Johnson, D.C., recently joined the practice and is offering advice on when to consider chiropractic care:
“When somebody’s spine is misaligned, your joints are not moving properly, so what we do as chiropractors, when we adjust you, we get your joints functioning and moving as they should be. Bio-mechanically we are to be moving all the time, so when you have arthritis or if you play sports and your shoulder is out of place, it is our job to help move the joints back,” says Dr. Johnson.
“If you are having a lot of pain anywhere, but that pain is not going away, if you are doing any orthopedic stretching and there is no relief with any of that, or if you are older and have arthritis, just see about going to a chiropractor and seeing if the pain will get better after you get an adjustment,” Dr. Johnson adds.
Dr. Johnson earned her Bachelor of Science degree at Iowa Wesleyan University before graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic. She is now accepting new patients at Maple City Chiropractic, located at 309 South Main Street in Monmouth.
