Colleges across the country are continuing to adjust to changes in higher education. Monmouth College is doing that by expanding opportunities for students. President of Monmouth College Dr. Patricia Draves shares what Monmouth is doing to meet the needs of today’s students.
“At Monmouth, we’re listening to our students, our alums, the workforce, community members and employers.
Some of the things we are doing at Monmouth include providing new opportunities with a nursing program, expanding our engineering program, and offering new majors. Our faculty are also studying the addition of seven different programs right now.
We’re also adjusting our curriculum for what consumers, meaning students, families, and employers, want, but also what they need.”
Dr. Draves adds that being an agile institution means making adjustments as student needs continue to change.
