Monmouth Fire Department Announces April Firefighter Testing Date; Informational Meeting March 21st

The Monmouth Fire Department is now accepting applications to form an eligibility list for future hires at the department, informs Fire Chief Casey Rexroat:

“We will be testing to form a new eligibility list to hire firefighters to the department. The testing date is actually April 18th, but applications are due by April 10th. The qualifications to test for our fire department, you must be 21 years of age or under 35, be a United States citizen, have a high school diploma or GED, have a valid driver’s license, and after you work at the department for one year if your probationary period you must live within 20 miles of Monmouth. You can call the fire station at 309-734-8428 or just stop by one of the fire stations.”

On Saturday, March 21st beginning at 10 am, the Monmouth Fire Department is holding an informational meeting and practice for the physical agility test ahead of test day at Station 1, located at 601 Industrial Park Road in Monmouth.
