Monmouth-Roseville Titan Baseball Return Good Numbers from a Young 2025 Squad

Share

The Monmouth-Roseville Titan baseball team is entering its second year under the direction of head coach Mike Huston. Coach Huston took over a club last year that was coming off a regional championship appearance in 2024. That Titan squad was led by 8 seniors that started and got the bulk of playing time. The 2025 Titan season was in a rebuilding phase that had several freshman and sophomores that saw the majority of time on the field. Monmouth-Roseville ended the season at (8-22).

This year’s team is now one year older and hoping to use that experience to get them to double-digit wins and get the program back into contention in a stacked TRAC West Division. Coach Huston said on the WRAM Morning Show on Wednesday morning that he’s had 26 players at practice so far this spring and said it’s been a good mix of a plethora of older kids, combined with a big freshman class.

The Titans were supposed to get their 2026 campaign underway on Wednesday with a home game against Stark County. With snow still on the ground from Monday’s winter storm, Monmouth-Roseville hopes to get on the field at Knoxville High School on Thursday. The best chance to play looks like a game on the artificial turf field at IVC High School in Chillicothe on Saturday.
