CASA of West Central Illinois is a Court Appointed Special Advocate program that works to support abused and neglected children involved in the court system.
As a nonprofit organization, CASA relies on grants, donations, and fundraising events to support its mission.
One of those fundraisers is coming up this summer, as Executive Director Kelly Price says they’ve got something fun planned for July 11 in Galesburg.
“It’s July 11 at three o’clock. Reserve Artisan Ales is where we’ll kick it off. You have until seven o’clock to either do the front nine or the back nine. You’ll go around to nine different bars, restaurants, and pubs around downtown Galesburg. Do a mini golf hole at each place, have some fun at each place, and then meet back at the end for awards.”
