If you’ve ever seen photos from a Monmouth College athletic event, there’s a good chance they were taken by Kent Kriegshauser.
Kriegshauser has built a long career behind the camera, shooting at some of the biggest venues and events in sports.
He’s photographed games at Wrigley Field, including the first ever night game, along with stops at the old Boston Garden, a Buffalo Bills’ AFC Championship game in the 90s, and both the 1990 and 1991 NBA Finals.
Despite all that, Kriegshauser says his favorite photo came at the Indianapolis 500.
“People will ask me what my favorite picture I’ve ever taken is, and that will probably be one of Mario Andretti and Paul Newman standing together, kind of just laying back and having a debriefing at the end of the day.”
