This Monday, April 27th, the Heritage Bible Church in Monmouth, located at 302 East Broadway, will host their Spring Indian Taco Supper drive-thru style from 4:30 to 7 pm. Church Member Patty Albin shares the history of the fundraising event:
“We started this in 1992. The pastor’s wife, Darcy Nedser, started it to support David Lindemer at Seminary. We rolled out the dough for the taco supper; it was small then. Then Lou Pavlik gave us a pizza roller to roll the dough out. We still work the dough in order to put it through the pizza dough roller. We do approximately 600 to 700 Indian tacos. That dough is rolled out and then deep fried.”
For a $9.00 donation, you will receive a plate size taco and ice cream during the Heritage Bible Church’s Indian Taco Supper.
