On Tuesday, April 28th, OSF Holy Family and St. Mary Medical Centers are hosting a popup Drug Take Back event at the Warren County Health Department from 10 am to noon to safely dispose of unused or expired medications, informs Community Health Program Manager Emily Brooks:

“We will be right outside the Warren County Health Department, and the Monmouth Police Department is also partnering with us. We want everyone to know that this is a great way that if you are spring cleaning those cabinets and you don’t know what to do with those medications or just over the counter prescriptions, bring those and we will collect them and we will dispose of those safely for you. The Warren County Drug Take Back popup event, for this one specifically for Warren County residents only, we will be able to accept sharps and dispose of those properly.”

If you are unable to attend this Drug Take Back event in Warren County, drop boxes are located at the hospital to also safely dispose of expired and unused medications.
