The 4th Annual Tom Parrish Memorial Golf Tournament at Gibson Woods in Monmouth is set for Saturday, June 27th with an 8 am shotgun start. Marcia Parrish offers more details of the event:
“So far in the first three years we have raised almost $90,000 for research through the Michael J. Fox Foundation. We are a member of Team Fox and so 100 percent of the proceeds of our tournament will go toward research. We hope to get 25 teams this year, that’s my goal.”
Although next year’s 5th Annual Tom Parrish Memorial Golf Tournament will be the final one, Parrish says she will continue to raise funds in memory of her husband to support Parkinson’s research.
