United Baseball Faces A-Town in Conference Opener Saturday

Share

The United Red Storm baseball team is coming off a busy week as they gear up for their conference opener tomorrow.

United started the week with a trip to Chicago, taking on perennial power Nazareth Academy and another strong program in Glenbard South, falling in both matchups.

The Red Storm then split a pair of games during the week, falling to Geneseo before bouncing back with a win over Ridgewood.

Now, all eyes turn to Saturday.

United opens conference play with a doubleheader against the Abingdon-Avon Tornadoes, a regional championship rematch from last season.

Even with the conference implications, Head Coach Ryan Molek says his team is treating it like any other game.

We’ll have coverage of game one of the conference-opening doubleheader between the United Red Storm and the Abingdon-Avon Tornadoes tomorrow on WRAM AM 1330 and online at radiomonmouth.com. Pregame will get underway at 10:40, with first pitch scheduled for 11.
