The search for a new Superintendent of the West Central School District is on as Stacey Day has accepted a new position:
“I was offered the Superintendent position at Mercer County. That is where I spent the first nineteen years of my career as a high school math teacher and then high school principal. As of July 1st, I will be transitioning back to Mercer County. It is very bittersweet. I am excited to go back and work with people that I was able to work with before and some new people there, but I have really loved my time at West Central. It is really hard to leave, but I’m excited at the same time.”
Day served as the Superintendent of the West Central School District for four years.
