The Galesburg Area Vocational Center recently held their Senior Signing Day, where they recognize those students planning to continue in a Career and Technical Education field or the military after high school. According to Superintendent Ed Fletcher, five Monmouth-Roseville students were recognized:
“We had several students recognized; Elijah Noel, Kaylee Ibarra Andrew Way, Valeria Perez, and Alesia Kidd. They were recognized for being graduates and moving on to post-secondary education in their chosen career area and actually some of them already have jobs. It was very cool to see that. It is a great program that our kids have access to.”
Forty-three Monmouth-Roseville High School students have already signed up to participate in a program through the Galesburg Area Vocational Center this next school year.
