As Mental Health Awareness Month is recognized throughout May, Eagle View Community Health System Marketing Director Sabrina Wilson is reminding community members that support and resources are available:

“With May being Mental Health Month, it is a reminder that mental health is just as important as physical health. Everyone faces stress, anxiety, grief, or difficult moments at some point in their life and reaching out for support is a sign of strength and not weakness. We just want people to know that it is okay to call. You do not have to have a referral from a provider. Another thing that we really strive for at Eagle View is reducing the stigma.”

Mental health services are provided at Eagle View’s Monmouth and Oquawka locations, as well as through telehealth.
