VNA Community Services offers a variety of vital services to seniors in Knox County. Throughout the month of June, VNA will be hosting their largest fundraising event of the year, “Sunshine for Seniors,” informs Executive Director Michael Bennett:
“We are actually teaming up with various businesses throughout Knox County where we ask them to take these lovely construction suns that are made by our friends at Thrive Community Services, formerly KCCDD, and we ask them to mount these suns someplace prominent in their business to show that they are a champion of Knox County seniors. We ask that they have at least one day with a unique selling point that benefits VNA and Knox County Seniors. The best thing about this year is we are going seriously big with the ‘Rays & Graze Food Truck Festival’ June 27th at Thrive Community Services Parking Lot.”
During the Rays & Graze Food Truck Festival on Saturday, June 27th from 11 am to 7 pm, attendees will enjoy live music, community booths, activities, non-profit resources, a silent auction, and of course food trucks.
